Abigail Adkins is an attorney on Allensworth’s Water Law team, where she advises clients on matters involving water rights, permitting, and regulatory compliance. Abigail brings a deep understanding of environmental regulations and administrative proceedings, having previously served as counsel at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). Her experience at the agency gives her valuable insight into the inner workings of  permitting processes and enforcement procedures across the state. Abigail has litigated permitting cases in district court, at the appellate level, and has seen several cases through to final hearing at the State Office of Administrative Hearings. Abigail brings a unique, highly-specified skillset to the team and can help water clients navigate the confusing permitting processes in Texas.

Abigail earned her J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law, where she focused her studies on environmental and administrative law. She holds a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
