Caroline Gorman is a detail-oriented construction lawyer who thrives on being prepared for any stage of the litigation process. With a mother who was a lawyer and a father who worked in construction, Caroline’s roots in both fields run deep, making her construction law practice a natural fit. 

Caroline’s strengths are multifaceted. She takes the time to deeply understand her clients’ businesses in their entirety – not just the aspects directly involved in a case. She excels in resolving disputes in a manner that allows business practices to continue smoothly. Caroline provides honest, straightforward advice empowering her clients to make informed decisions about resolving disputes, continuing litigation, or avoiding disputes altogether.

Caroline diligently manages complex project files and leads her team in organizing, synthesizing, and making sense of complicated project documents. Her strong writing skills and attention to detail complement her ability to think independently, fearlessly tackle challenges, and remain tenacious in her pursuit of client success. 

Before joining Allensworth, Caroline opened the Austin office for a well-respected boutique litigation firm with offices across the country. Her litigation experience includes negotiating settlements, taking and defending depositions, conducting dispositive hearings, and leading case strategy on complex business disputes. 

Outside of her legal work, Caroline enjoys creative writing and hosting parties. Previously, she performed improv in Austin, during which  she met her husband. She also loves to travel and has visited over 20 countries so far. Caroline’s diverse interests and experiences enrich her professional life, making her a well-rounded and dynamic attorney to her clients and community.
